Average fine for flouters during the state of emergency is 54 euro in Latvia

LETA/TBT Staff In Latvia, the average fine for those who fail to observe restrictions imposed during the state of emergency is around EUR 54, Interior Minister Sandis Girgens (KPV LV) said on April 23. Since the declaration of the state of emergency in Latvia, the State Police have carried out 45,545 preventive inspections and opened 718 administrative cases, said Girgens.
