VILNIUS – Failure to find a compromise on the EU's budget, which has vetoed by Poland and Hungary for linking access to funding to respect for the rule of law, would hurt all countries, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said on Friday.
This has been discussed at the European Council, and Poland shows a willingness to seek compromises, too, according to Nauseda.
"Both sides are seeking to find solutions. We will all lose if no solutions are found," the president told a news conference.
