RIGA – The majority or 80 percent of Latvian residents shop online at least once in six months, according to a poll conducted by Omniva postal services company.
This number includes 81 percent of residents of Riga and 79 percent of residents of rural regions.
As many as 725 respondents, aged 18-74, were polled in March in cooperation with OMD Latvia.
Omniva was established in 2012, and its share capital is EUR 2,945. Omniva belongs to Estonian postal company Eesti Post.
Omniva operates 116 parcel machines in Latvia.
