TALLINN - Europol has added 24 individuals to its most wanted list in connection with serious crimes, including two Estonian citizens, Postimees reports.

Mihkel Veskus is wanted for illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and for failing to appear in court. Margus Nõmm is accused of sexual exploitation of children and child pornography.

Europol warns that individuals on the list may still be at large and pose a danger.

"If you do recognize someone, do not approach them directly. Let us know through the fugitives' profile pages. All new profiles are marked in red. Anonymous tips are accepted too," Europol said in a press release.

In total, Europol has published profiles of 454 wanted persons, 164 of whom have been captured to date, with 53 arrests directly linked to information shared on the platform.

All information is forwarded to the European Network on Fugitive Active Search Teams (ENFAST) which operates around the clock and is ready to locate fugitives immediately.

"Over 20 criminals have just been added and this year's catchphrase 'blood on their hands' seeks to increase public awareness about dangerous fugitives wanted for serious crimes such as murder," Europol said.
