These 62 persons have re-emigrated back to Latvia and are currently living in Ventspils, Liepaja, Talsi Region and Grobina.

Smilga explained that approximately 280 people have contacted her about re-emigrating back to Latvia, while individual offers have been prepared for 251 persons, which is a total of 88 families.

She added that approximately 20 other families plan on returning to live in Kurzeme within the next several months.
