Zourabichvili, Merkel to discuss Georgia-EU relations, situation in S. Caucasus next week

TBILISI - Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel during the former's visit to Germany on February 20-21, the presidential administration told journalists on Friday.

Zourabichvili will travel to Germany from France, which she is planning to visit on February 17-19 for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The meeting between Zourabichvili and Merkel is scheduled for February 20, the German government press service said.

Zourabichvili and Merkel are planning to discuss bilateral relations, cooperation between Georgia and the European Union, and the situation in the South Caucasus.
