Ukraine lifts sanctions from 29 foreign journalists, including from Estonia, Latvia

Sanctions which were introduced in Sept. 2015 against a number of Russian and other foreign journalists, including from Latvia and Estonia, were revoked by a Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council resolution on May 20. The sanctions were lifted from 29 individuals, according to a copy of the resolution published on the presidential portal. Among them are journalists from Latvia's Russian-language daily Vesti Segodnya Vladimirs Bucelnikovs, Eduards Eldarovs, Nikolajs Kabanovs (also a member of Latvian parliament), and Erika Rugalska. ...
