VILNIUS - Three young women on Wednesday filed a complaint with the Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office, claiming that they had been sexually harassed by Kestutis Pukas, a member of the Seimas.

„"Three young women today turned to the Prosecutor General's Office over offenses committed by MP Kestutis Pukas. Basically, the main argument why they turned is the (Criminal Code) article on sexual harassment," Karolis Rugys of the law firm Ziemelis, Valys, Rugys and Partners told BNS.

The lawyer said that one of the women had previously worked as an aide to Pukas at the Seimas and the other two had tried to get the job of the lawmaker's aide.

Elena Martinoniene, spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General's Office, confirmed to BNS on Wednesday evening that the complaint had been received. She added that a woman had also filed a separate complaint containing similar allegations.
