RIGA - September will bring to light any problems caused by the new teachers’ wage model, Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis announced on LNT commercial television’s morning news programme on Thursday.
Following the first month of the new pay system, teachers will receive their salaries and it will be possible to see flaws in the system in need of alteration, he explained. In Vejonis’s opinion, the government’s ability to reach an agreement on the wage model was a success.
