Stolichnaya Vodka (otherwise known as Stoli) has been the trademark of Russia since around 1950.  It’s as Russian a symbol as Jim Beam Bourbon is to the US. Oops!  The Japanese firm Santory now owns Jim Beam.  Well, there’s always Budweiser.  Nope, it’s run by two Brazilian billionaires.  But Putin and even Donald Trump have to realize you can’t stop globalization.  And Stoli now says it’s Latvian.
