Olympic gold for Estonian cheese

TALLINN- This years Olympic Games in Beijing had a surprising change of menu when Estonian cheese was added to the list.

 Chosen based on the close-knit relationship between Valio Estonia and China’s Yili dairy company, the Estonian cheese is now the biggest cheese exporter in Estonia. The cheese is also exported throughout Russia, the Baltics, Italy and Sweden.

 Valio Estoniamarketing manager Lauri Betlem spoke for the company and for proud Estonian’s everywhere when she said that it’s an honor to be chosen to be on the Olympic menu.

 Valio Estoniahopes to continue to broaden their market and use the opportunity to form new partnerships.
