Possible energmin candidate favours restricting Lithuania's power imports from Astravyets

VILNIUS - Lithuania should limit access for electricity from the Astravyets Nuclear Power Plant being built in Belarus, Virgilijus Poderys, who has been named by parliamentary election-winning Peasant and Green Union Party as their candidate for energy minister, said today. Poderys, a former leader of the energy market regulator the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices, and a former CEO of the state-owned energy holding company Epso-G, has not dismissed using technical means to fully block access to electricity from the Astravyets plant to Lithuania. ...
