Population ageing named as serious future problem for Latvia - Barometer survey

More than a half or 57 per cent of respondents believe that population ageing will become a serious problem in Latvia during the next five years, according to the Baltic International Bank Latvia Barometer survey. Social inequality was mentioned as a significant problem by 42 per cent, labour shortage by 40 per cent, and poor economic situation by 39 per cent of respondents.
