No contest as Latvia beats Ukraine
RIGA - Team Latvia spurted ahead of Ukraine 24:11 to end the first quarter, followed up by a convincing 42:22 at the half in the Sept. 11 game at the 2013 European Men’s Basketball Championship in the Slovenian capital, reports LETA. Latvia kept up the pressure, not giving its opponent a chance to come back, ultimately winning 85:51. This was Latvia’s first game in the second round.
