RIGA - Five men alleged to be involved with the assassination attempt of a financial police investigator from Latvia's State Revenue Service were charged late last month.Helmuts Skuja was shot on the stairs of his home, a Riga apartment building, while his family was inside as he was leaving for work on Sept. 23.Stanislav Nazarovs, a prosecutor with the Latvian Special Prosecutor's Office of Organized Crime and Other Branches, said the five men are facing a variety of charges."There is one perso ...
