Doctors: Gimzauskas too sick to stand trial

VILNIUS (BNS) - A panel of Vilnius doctors recommended that the court should dismiss a war crimes case against Kazys Gimzauskas because of the defendant's poor health."The commission has ascertained Gimzauskas is in an extremely poor state of health and cannot attend court," said Maryte Kazlauskiene, a member of the commission. The commission has yet to decide whether Aleksandras Lileikis, also facing charges of genocide, can stand trial.
