An Estonian Member of the European Parliament (MEP) has invited a group of homeless people from Tallinn to visit his offices in Brussels to learn more about the work of the European Parliament.

Indrek Tarand will host a visit of a group of homeless people from the Tallinn Social Work Centre on November 19-20.

They will visit the Belgian war museum and have a dinner in a restaurant with Tarand, city of Tallinn's perss spokesman Raepress said.

"Our clients do not have any opportunity to travel around Europe, and even less see such an institution. The upcoming trip will undoubtedly help to raise self-esteem, confidence in oneself and certainly increase the desire to do better in life," said Tallinn Social Work Centre head Kersti Põldemaa.
