Five U.S. military helicopters have landed in Estonia ahead of Barack Obama's visit to the country on September 3.

The Apache and Black Hawk helicopters landed at Tallinn airport on Sunday, delfi.ee reports.

Obama is set to meet with the heads of states from the three Baltics and Poland this week. The meeting comes a day before a major NATO summit in Wales.

Obama is expected to promise "unwavering commitment" for the Baltics during the meetings, the White House said.
