Lithuania FM in Ukraine for talks amid unrest

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Linas Linkevicius, is paying a visit to Kiev today for high level talks with Ukraine officials.

He will meet with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and other officials in the Ukrainian government.

Linkevicius is expected to reaffirm Lithuania's support to the Ukraine amid unrest in the country. Other talking points include implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, bilateral relations between Lithuania and Ukraine and coordination of diplomatic actions for the upcoming high-level meetings of the European Union, NATO and the United Nations.

Lithuania has previously said it supports Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence.
