Giant British sports goods seller Sports Direct will open its first store in Estonia later this year

The sports outlet will open at the Ülemiste shopping center in Tallinn at the end of October, Postimees Online reports.

Ülemiste Centre director Guido Pärnits said that Sports Direct intends to open two stores in Tallinn altogether but it isn’t known yet where or when the second one would be opened.

The Sports Direct store will cover 1,600 square meters in the Ülemiste Centre that is undergoing major expansion works at the moment.

Sports Direct International has a 60% stake in Sportland International Group that has a chain of sporting goods stores in Estonia.
