Low cost airline set to expand in Lithuania

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, will expand its route network in Lithuania.

The airline will start operating flights from Vilnius to Frankfurt Hahn three times a week and Belfast and Malmo twice a week, each.

Frequencies on existing services will also increase in the summer 2015 season, the airline reports.Routes from Vilnius to Dortmund and Stavanger will be operated four times per week, whilst services to Doncaster Sheffield, Bergen and Sandefjord will increase to three weekly flights as of Late April.

Belfast, the largest city in Northern Ireland, is the latest of the 101 destinations on the airlines radar. The city is a center for industry as well as arts, education, business and law and is the economic engine of Northern Ireland.
