EP confirms Lithuanian entry into eurozone

VILNIUS - The European Parliament on July 16 confirmed the position of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee on Lithuania’s adoption of the euro with a large majority - 545 MEPs voted in favor, 116 against, reports LETA.The country can now join the eurozone on Jan. 1, 2015.“Lithuania fulfills all the criteria.
