Twenty people were evacuated from a Riga apartment yesterday after a roof collapse, LETA reports.
Rescuers received a call out to the to the five-floor apartment building in the Mezciems suburb. at 8:20 p.m, fire services say.
No persons were hurt as the roof collapse was only partial. Twenty people were evacuated from the building, including five children.
Building experts are currently at the scene to evaluate the safety of the building.
