The popular beach destination has been busy lately whilst Latvia enjoys a heat wave. And temperatures in Latvia will rise to 33 degrees celsius today, weather experts say.

Temperatures will range from 27 to 32 degrees celsius in most of Latvia whilst places like Dobele, Skriveri and Zilani will experience a scorching 33 degrees.

In Riga, temperatures will rise to 32 degrees celsius. Fire hazards are very high in forests, a situation that is unlikely to change until July 31.
