Debenhams set to expand in Baltics, creating jobs

British department chain Debenhams is set to open new stores in the Baltics, creating jobs.

New department stores will open in each of the Baltic states, a spokeswoman for the firm said.

Positive sales results in clothing in their Latvia branch were reasons behind the planned expansion, with the firm seeing an eight percent rise in sales, nozare.lv reports.

New department stores will be open in Latvia and Estonia also, the firm said.

Debenhams, who own stores in Estonia and Latvia currently employ 100 people.
