Latvia's top ranked tennis player Ernests Gulbis will open this year's Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament against Estonia's Jurgen Zopp, according to today's draw.
Gulbis is currently ranked 10th in the ATP rankings, and is seeded 12th at Wimbledon.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Zopp is currently ranked 275th in the world. As the 12th seed, Gulbis will not have to play any other seeded players in the first two rounds of Wimbledon, and will not play any players seeded above him before the tournament's fourth round.
The Latvian had his best ever performance at Wimbledon last year, advancing to the third round of the tournament.
Serbia's Novak Djokovic will be the tournament's first-seed, followed by Spain's Rafael Nadal and last year's champ Andy Murray.
The tournament itself will kick off on June 23.
