CAF turns to European Commission over Pasazieru vilciens tender

RIGA - The Spanish train manufacturer “Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles” (CAF) has turned to the European Commission with a complaint about the joint-stock company “Pasazieru vilciens” (Passenger Train) open tender, announced in November 2013, for the lease of new electric trains for a period of fifteen years, Ivo Klotins, attorney for CAF, told the “Nozare.lv” business portal.The complaint deals with the fact that “Pasazieru vilciens”, less than thirty days before the deadline for the submission of bids, altered the regulati...
