CAF turns to European Commission over Pasazieru vilciens tender
PASSED ON: Pasazieru vilciens’ tender regulations are to be examined by the European Commission following a complaint from a Spanish manufacturer.
RIGA - The Spanish train manufacturer “Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles” (CAF) has turned to the European Commission with a complaint about the joint-stock company “Pasazieru vilciens” (Passenger Train) open tender, announced in November 2013, for the lease of new electric trains for a period of fifteen years, Ivo Klotins, attorney for CAF, told the “Nozare.lv” business portal.
