Careless workers cause of Riga Castle fire

According to information obtained by Latvian Television's nightly newscast ''Panorama'', the fire which broke out at Riga Castle last June was caused by careless workers carrying out renovation work at the time, reports LETA.According to 'Panorana,' on June 20, the day before the fire, workers were cutting old ventilation shafts with an angle grinder.
