VIDEO: Brave journalist confronts riot police in Ukraine clashes

A brave journalists report from the scene of clashes in Kiev, Ukraine has been watched all over the world after confronting dozens of riot police personally.

Polish reporter Bartłomiejus Maślankiewiczius can be seen approaching riot officers and asking "You are Ukrainian, what are you doing." His questioning receives a muffled "no" from one officer.

At least three people have died amid clashes between protesters and police in Kiev. Demonstrators have taken to the streets over recent laws by the government deeming protests illegal. Prosecutors confirmed two people had died from gunshot wounds on Jan. 22. A third body was found in a forest on with signs of torture, reports say.

Earlier, Maślankiewiczius, who works for Polish television Republika, is seen standing between riot police officers and protesters. The report also shows a few protesters lying on the ground with injuries, whilst clashes take place.
