Temperatures will remain cold this weekend, with temperatures at night from minus 15 to 17 degrees Celsius in eastern regions, with temperatures several degrees warmer in the remainder of the country. Temperatures during the day will also be at around minus seven to minus 10 degrees Celsius, and several degrees colder in eastern regions, reports LETA.
Similar temperatures are expected next week as well, with temperatures even dropping to minus 19 degrees Celsius at night in eastern regions, the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center says.
