Latvian national team forward Artjoms Rudnevs has been loaned from German football club Hamburg SV to another Bundesliga club - ''Hannover 96''.

Rudnevs has already joined up with his new club and will undergo a physical fitness test today (Jan. 9)

With the loan deal, ''Hannover 96'' will have the opportunity to buy-out Rudnevs' contract from Hamburg during the summer transfer period. Rudnevs will remain with ''Hannover 96'' until the end of the Bundesliga season.

The 25-year-old Rudnevs had a successful start to his Bundesliga career last season, scoring 12 goals. He was the 9th top goal scorer in the league last season. However, he has not played much this season, and has scored no goals in the seven matches he has seen playing time.

Rudnevs signed a four-year deal with Hamburg SV in the summer of 2012, after the club purchased him from Polish football club Poznan ''Lech''. He became the first footballer from Latvia to play in the German Bundesliga.
Rudnevs has played in 26 matches for the Latvian national football team, scoring only one goal.
