DSF troops take up positions

VILNIUS - This year around 950 troops will be assigned to the Domestic Support Forces (DSF) on duty in Lithuania, reports ELTA. Throughout the year they will remain on high-readiness standby in order to rapidly respond in the event of military or non-military threats within the country’s territory, to extreme situations, or to provide support to state and municipal institutions in the event of crisis.This year as well as in previous years, soldiers from all sections of the armed forces (land forces, the air force and special operations) will be on duty in the DSF.Comprised ...
