Heavy snowfall is forecast throughout Latvia this weekend, as snow cover in parts of Vidzeme Province.
Snowfall could increase to 10 to 15 centimeters in some areas, the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center said. Rainy weather conditions are expected during the week, turning into wet-snow from Thursday.
Meanwhile, on Friday, snowfall is expected throughout the country, with heavy snow also possible in some areas. The most snowfall is expected on Friday and Saturday, reports LETA.
