H&M delights Estonian shoppers with first store

TALLINN - Swedish clothing giant H&M has opened its first store in Estonia, and in the process has creates numerous new jobs. The Swedish retailer opened in Tallinn last Saturday at the Rocca Al Mare shopping center. More than 1,500 shoppers attended the opening.

“We are very pleased to finally open our first store in Estonia,” said Marika Pyykko, H&M’s area manager in Estonia.

“It has been a great day with wonderful feedback from the customers,” she said, adding: “We are proud of the great team we have found for the store.”

A further two stores will be opening at the Postimaja and Kristiinein shopping centers this autumn.
