Rural areas receive project support

TALLINN - State support has provided for 142 projects in rural communities and associations of rural communities, in the amount of 2.5 million litas (743,200 euros), reports ELTA. This year rural communities and associations of rural communities have been active - 305 projects were submitted in total, though some of them (59 projects) were considered as unsuitable for financing. Some projects (104) did not receive financing due to funding insufficiencies.

Rural communities and associations of rural communities that did not receive funding for their projects will be informed about the reasons for not receiving the support.

Most projects are financed in Sakiai district (11 projects), Taurage district (9), Klaipeda district (7), Joniskis and Kretinga districts (6 projects in both). In total 45 municipalities provided rural communities and associations of rural communities with support.
