EMT claims 4G coverage a success

TALLINN - Estonia’s largest mobile phone operator EMT announced on June 17 that it has covered 95 percent of Estonia with 4G signal coverage, making Estonia the top state in this sphere in Europe; competitors say they doubt the data’s accuracy, reports Postimees.The company’s manager Valdo Kalm said that only Singapore and South Korea have achieved such coverage, while in Europe, Estonia is the first.So far, Estonian telecommunication operators use the 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz frequencies for fourth generation data communications.
