RIGA - The unemployment rate will continue to gradually drop in the coming years, and by 2016 and 2017, there could be tension on the job market in Latvia, as the work force will begin to have the upper hand over employers and pressure them to increase wages, Economy Ministry Parliamentary Secretary Vilnis Kirsis said during a Saeima Parliamentary Inquiry Committee meeting on May 22, reports LETA.He pointed out that the demographic situation in coming years will become more of a hindrance, thus it is necessary to carry out education system reforms and stimulate re-emigration.
