Ryanair to create 40 new jobs

KAUNAS - Ryanair has begun construction of a second hangar for its 1.5 million euro aircraft maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) facility in Kaunas, Lithuania’s second biggest city. First opened in January 2013, the center is the first of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. It is designed to service approximately 60 airplanes each year, Invest Lithuania reports.The second hangar will employ an additional 40 mechanics and engineers, a figure that is set to climb to 80 in the coming years.
