Paldiski hedges bet on Ukrainian investment

TALLINN - A Ukrainian company has confirmed its intentions to invest 3 billion euros in an oil refinery in Paldiski, northwest Estonia, reports Eesti Paevaleht. According to the preliminary agreement signed between the Port of Tallinn and Donbassmontazhspetsstroi, the construction work on the refinery next to the Paldiski South Port starts this year, and over 400 million euros will be invested in the building of the first stage already this year.
