Dissatisfied with coalition, Ronis steps down

RIGA - Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis (Unity) on Jan. 18 accepted Transport Minister Aivis Ronis’ resignation, reports LETA. Following a meeting with Dombrovskis in the morning, Ronis told reporters that he would continue to work in his job until March 1 so that he could complete projects currently under way.
“There is enough time to find a new transport minister by March 1,” said the prime minister.
