TALLINN - In the first Estonian Patent Board's trademark bulletin of this year, several brands of the U.S. fast food restaurant Burger King brands have been published, Postimees Online reports.
The black and white logos of Burger King and phrases "Whopper" and "Home of the Whopper," which mark the main product of the restaurant chain, have been registered.
The company's' main competitor McDonald's noted that this doesn’t mean Burger King is about to enter Estonia.
"Currently we lack any trustworthy information that Burger King is entering the Estonian market." said McDonald's Baltic manager Tomasz Nawrocki.
The nearest place to Estonia where one could buy whopper now is Russia.
