Russian control worries Belokons

RIGA - Latvian businessman, banker and publisher Valerijs Belokons is concerned about Latvia’s Russian-language newspapers ending up under the control of a select group of Russian businessmen and officials, reports Nozare.lv. Belokons says in an interview in his magazine Otkritij Gorod that he is “uncomfortable with the interests of another country and its businessmen promoted with the help of Latvia’s press.” According to the banker, this refers not only to Russia ...
