ROME - Baltic Culture Days are being held in Rome December 13 through December 16.

During these four days, the performing, folk and fine arts from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia will be presented to Rome residents and tourists, as well as Christmas traditions in the three countries.

This is the first time that such a Baltic-featured event has been organized in Rome.

The Baltic Culture Days will feature a Christmas fair where visitors will be offered to buy handicraft and enjoy performances by various artists.

There will also be readings of Christmas poems and stories from the Baltic countries.

All the money that will be raised during the Christmas fair will be donated to charity.

The Baltic Culture Days are organized by the Italian Culture Ministry, National Etruscan Museum in Rome, Estonian Society of Italy, as well as the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian embassies in Rome.
