Banks’ response lags market demand

VILNIUS - The Bank of Lithuania conducted surveys on non-financial enterprises and commercial banks, which revealed that credit to business would become more dynamic next year: banks are disposed not to tighten lending conditions, while enterprises that project business development will seek to attract double the amount of financial resources from the outside, the national bank of Lithuania said in a statement, reports ELTA.“Banks are forecasting an average three percent growth in their loan portfolio, and some of them even expect an increase of five percent,” said Virgili...
