SHRINKAGE: Latvia’s demographic situation depends on global developments, says Mihails Hazans.
RIGA - Nearly one year has passed since the population census in 2011, and during this period an additional 30,000 to 40,000 residents have left Latvia, last year’s ‘Spidola Award’ winner, University of Latvia Professor Mihails Hazans, said, reports Nozare.lv.
