Latvian police make huge marijuana bust

SALDUS -- Latvian police have uncovered a marijuana farm in the southern town of Saldus with 720 kilograms of drugs worth more than 7 million lats.

Four men aged 22-52, one Latvian and three Lithuanians, were arrested at the farm.

The farm covered a total area of 450 square meters and the value of the marijuana is estimated at 7.2 million lats. The men will face a slew of criminal charges.
