RIGA - Skonto has taken out the 2010/2011 Triobet Baltic League in thrilling fashion, defeating hosts Ventspils in a shootout on Saturday afternoon [June 18]. In the most exciting final in the four year history of the Baltic-wide tournament, Skonto looked to have sealed the all-Latvian match-up with a goal in the first half of extra time to break a 0-0 deadlock.
