MONTE CARLO, MONACO – Latvian Ernests Gulbis has finally put in an impressive result on the tennis court, defeating Ukraine’s Aleksandr Dolgopolov during the opening day’s play at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters. Having fallen back to 30th in the world rankings after having been as high as 21 in February, Gulbis impressed on Sunday beating the man who now holds the number 21 ranking 6-1 6-4.
