RIGA - The Prosecutors office has asked a RIga regional court to seize millions of lats worth of equipment as part of an ongoing investigation dubbed the "digital tv affair".
The prosecutor's office believes that this equipment must be seized as the money that was used to purchase the equipment was defrauded from "Digitalais Latvijas radio un televizijas centrs" (DLRTC) via a money laundering scheme.
The equipment in question involves six digital television transmitters and a digital TV head station belonging to the company "Hannu Digital", LETA reported.
