KLAIPEDA - Ice cream sales off to a sluggish summer start have seen an unprecedented jump in the lingering heat – up by 40-60 percent in the recent weeks. With customer lines elsewhere dwindling, the queues at ice cream parlors and ice cream stands have been wriggling nowadays – all flavors and scoop sizes go and are gone. Official tallies in the ice cream business are hard to come by, but, obviously, the ice cream market appears to be hot.
